In case of non-confirmation of payment success, the user should connect with Razorpay for initiating the refund process, if not automatically initiated. As a user, I am aware that the Transport Department shall not make any refunds in case none of the services are availed.
The Transport Department is not responsible for any chargebacks in case the user fails to avail the service from department. Department shall provide necessary responses/ evidences to the authorities in case of such chargeback requests.
In case of unsuccessful transaction (i.e user account debited but amount not credited to transport department), Razorpay shall initiate the refund process automatically on T+3 to T+5 days (here ‘T’ is date of transaction and the ‘days’ are working days). However, the time taken for credit depends on bank and varies from bank to bank and Transport Department has no control over it. Hence, one may contact the respective bank for such transactions.
If Payment Gateway Service Provider or Bank imposes any taxes or charges anything over and above fees/taxes, the same shall be borne by the user, the Transport Department shall be indemnified from any such claims.
The users agrees to indemnify and hold Transport Department harmless against all claims, losses, damages and actions that the users may initiate in relation to the online payment gateway. Neither Transport Department nor any of its employees or offices shall be liable for any such loss or damage that may be suffered by the user as a result of such usage.
All payments will be processed on the information that you provide. Transport Department will not accept liability if you make a mistake while completing a form or for any other reason. You will be given an opportunity to review the data that you have entered before submitting it for processing.
Users should make their payment well before the due date. It will be entirely the responsibility of the user, if the user has to make late fee payment due to the failure of payment transaction done on the due date.
The refund for fees shall be governed as per rule 284 of Maharashtra Motor Vehicles Rules 1989 by the concerned Regional Transport Office.
The refund for taxes shall be governed by the provisions of section 9 of Maharashtra Motor Vehicles Tax Act, 1958 by the concerned Regional Transport Office.
For manual refund of double payment cases, user can approach respective Regional Transport Office. I am aware that this is non-refundable amount i.e once paid using Razorpay, department shall not make any refunds in cash/ internet banking/ money transfer due to any reason. I have read all the above disclaimer items. I agree/ understand the meaning of each and would like to proceed further.
